Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Rewaly. Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us.
Rewaly is a smart wallet app that helps you organise and track all your loyalty programs, memberships, gift cards, coupons, and reward points in one place. Instead of juggling multiple apps, emails, and physical cards, Rewaly brings everything together so you always know what you have and never miss out on a reward.
You can add loyalty programs (stamp cards, point-based programs), memberships (gym, club, airline elite, hotel tiers), gift cards with balance tracking, and coupons or voucher codes. Rewaly includes a built-in catalog of popular programs to choose from, and you can also add anything manually — so any program, from any brand, can be tracked.
Yes. You can add any membership as a loyalty program in Rewaly — store your member number (encrypted), set a renewal date to get an expiry alert, and attach notes with tier information, benefits details, or the program website. It works for gym memberships, club cards, airline elite status, hotel loyalty tiers, and any other membership-based program.
After signing in, you add your loyalty programs, memberships, gift cards, or coupons to your wallet. Browse the built-in catalog of popular programs or add any card manually. From there, Rewaly lets you update balances, log transactions, mark coupons as used, and get expiry reminders — keeping everything organised in one dashboard.
No. Rewaly does not connect to or fetch data from any loyalty program, membership account, or retailer. All balances, points, and membership details are entered and maintained manually by you. This keeps Rewaly simple, private, and compatible with any program in the world — you are always in full control of what is recorded.
Yes, but it only takes seconds. Rewaly uses a simple phone number and one-time code to sign you in — no passwords needed. Your data is securely linked to your account so it stays safe if you switch devices. (Note: if someone sends you a gift card by email, that separate claim flow does require verifying the recipient email with a one-time code.)
No. Rewaly focuses purely on organising your loyalty programs and rewards. You never need to link a bank account or payment card.
Yes. Rewaly supports multiple currencies including USD, AED, INR, and more. Each gift card can have its own currency, and you can set a default currency for your wallet in the account settings.
Yes. Rewaly is free to download and use with no subscriptions or hidden fees. Additional premium features may be introduced in the future, but the core wallet will always be free.
Yes. Your gift card numbers, member IDs, and coupon codes are encrypted with AES-256 before being stored, so they are never readable by anyone else. Rewaly does not sell your data or share it with any third parties.
You enter the starting balance manually and log spending transactions as you use the card. Rewaly tracks your remaining balance from the transaction history so you always have an accurate picture of what you have left.
If you have set an expiry date, Rewaly will alert you before the coupon expires. You can also manually mark any coupon as used or expired at any time.
Yes. Coupon codes are encrypted with AES-256 before being stored, so they are never readable by anyone other than you.
Yes. Member numbers and card numbers are encrypted with AES-256 before being stored, so they are never readable by anyone other than you.
Any type — gym memberships, sports clubs, airline elite status cards, hotel loyalty tiers, subscription services, local club cards, and more. If it has a member number or renewal date, Rewaly can track it.
Yes. Set a renewal or expiry date on any membership and Rewaly will notify you before it lapses, so you never experience an unexpected gap in your gym access or club benefits.
Open the Shop tab in the Rewaly app, browse or search for the brand you want, choose your amount, and pay securely. Choose whether to keep it for yourself or send it to someone else. If it's for you, the gift card is automatically created and added to your Rewaly gift card wallet — no codes to copy, no emails to chase.
It lands directly in your Rewaly gift card wallet, right alongside any cards you have added manually. You will also receive an email notification confirming it has been added. To see the card details, open the Rewaly app and check your wallet.
Yes. At checkout, choose 'Send as a Gift' and enter the recipient's email address along with an optional personal message. They'll receive an email with a secure claim link. After verifying their email with a one-time code, they can view the gift card details. They don't need a Rewaly account to claim it, and can create one later to add it to their own wallet.
You'll receive an email with a secure claim link, not the gift card details directly. Click the link, verify your email with a one-time code, and you'll be able to view the card. If you already have a Rewaly account, keep an eye out for it in your wallet too.
Double-check the recipient's email before confirming — gift-card sends can't be redirected once delivered. If you believe you entered the wrong address, contact support@rewaly.com immediately; corrections may not be possible if the link has already been claimed.
No. All gift card purchases are strictly final. Once payment is confirmed and the gift card has been added to your wallet, we do not accept refunds, cashbacks, cancellations, or returns. If you experience a technical issue — for example, you were charged but the gift card did not appear in your wallet within 15 minutes — contact support@rewaly.com within 7 days and we will investigate.
Yes. All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI DSS compliant payment processor. Rewaly never stores your card number, CVV, or any other payment credentials — those go directly to Razorpay and never touch our servers.
The Shop covers hundreds of brands across retail, food and dining, travel, gaming, fashion, entertainment, health and fitness, and electronics. The catalog is updated regularly. Search by brand name or browse by category inside the app.
If your payment fails or is declined, no gift card is issued and you are not charged. Simply try again or use a different payment method. If you believe you were charged but your payment shows as failed, contact support@rewaly.com immediately — do not re-purchase until you have heard back from us.
Yes. From your account settings, you can invite a trusted member to your Rewaly account by email. Once they accept, they can help view and manage the loyalty programs, memberships, gift cards, and coupons in your account, just as you can.
Yes, today the person you invite must already have a Rewaly account for the invite to go through. If they don't have one yet, ask them to create a free account first, then send the invite.
An invited member can view and manage the rewards, memberships, gift cards, and coupons stored in the shared account — the same level of access the owner has. There isn't a reduced or view-only permission level yet, so only invite people you trust.
Yes. As the account owner, you can remove a member at any time from your account settings. This immediately revokes their access to your rewards.
No. Adding a member gives them access to help manage your rewards — it doesn't transfer ownership. You remain the account owner and can remove their access at any time.
No. You can be a member of at most one shared account at a time. There's no limit on how many people you, as an owner, can invite over time — but a single invitee can only belong to one shared workspace at once.
Reward Sharing lets you give an unused gift card or coupon code to another Rewaly user, right from the app, instead of letting it go to waste. They accept it and it moves straight into their own wallet.
Anyone who already has a Rewaly account — you enter their email address and Rewaly looks up their account for you. Sharing to someone without a Rewaly account isn't supported yet; they'd need to create a free account first.
Yes. If a reward has more than one unused coupon code, you can pick exactly which ones to send when you share it — the rest stay right where they are, in your own wallet.
It's locked as soon as you send the share, so you can't accidentally use it while it's pending — but it stays visible in your wallet the whole time. If the recipient accepts, it moves into their wallet. If they don't accept within 7 days, or you cancel the share yourself, it's released straight back to you, unchanged.
Yes, any time before the recipient accepts it. Once they've accepted, the transfer is final and can't be undone.
Yes — you'll get an email, a push notification, and an in-app notification (via the bell icon), plus a card on your Home screen for any share still waiting on your response, so it's hard to miss.
